Prioritization of Customers’ Preferences in Islamic banking system: An Artificial Intelligence Approach using Kano Analysis

Purpose: There are variety of factors that influence a customer’s selection bank in general. However, there is large gap the literature covers customer decision to choose between an Islamic and conventional one. To this end, we try fill by using case study Morocco analyse contributing consumer’s selection. Methodology: The analysis presented paper applying artificial intelligence method KANO analysis. We apply it three stages. First, customers preferences identified classified according their impact on satisfaction. Second, Satisfaction Increasing Index (SII) formulated. Third Dissatisfaction Decreasing (DII) Findings: shows banking attributes (Provision profit-loss sharing financing , Operating law principles, Staff knowledge banking, Provision interest-free loans) required selecting as opposed bank. these requirements do not necessarily contribute increasing customers’ Significance: best our knowledge, perhaps first which uses Kano context consumers or Conventional Research Limitations/Implications: This Paper has main limitation being conducted only Morocco. It will be interesting see how results would change if country changed. Practical Social Implications: findings techniques, should help financial institution, whether banks tailor offerings match requirements.
